Your doctor So you may have been with your Doc for years, and it may be embarrassing to talk to them about stuff as you get older – but seriously, theyhave seen and heard it all before! They were youth once!!
| Remember: youthworkers, school counsellors, counsellors are all really good at supporting you through all of this. They can make phone calls and all the other stuff. |

Also, go to your doctor – or any doctor because they know the go and how to help.
The health system is kinda funny but what you need to know is that they can put through a bit of paper to ‘Eating Disorder Service’ at Princess Margaret Hospital if they reckon you need a bit more support. Sometimes there can be a bit of a waiting list so that’s why it is important to hook up with someone like the Eating Awareness Team, a counsellor, youth worker or public health nurse. Ask your doctor about more support options.
